To this date, Daniel Pinel is the unique French maker of lime paste. He will tell you about his profession during the visit of the lime oven and the lime paste making workshop.
For decades in Ebreuil, the stone from a quarry is exploited. The high limestone concentration of this latter and the traditional making method result in a high quality lime paste. The Pinel men have been lime paste makers from father to son.
