The construction of Le barrage de l'Aigle started in 1935 and ended only in 1945. It has been aptly named "the Resistance Dam".
It is also distinct from the daring of its architeture thanks to its majestic size: 290m long and 90m high. The fifth construction of a production group makes the dam the more powerful development of French national electricity board of the Dordogne basin. From 12 years old. Some ID and reservation required. Camera and bag forbidden. Flat and closed shoes.
