This church has characteristic elements of the Romaneque Auvergnate period, it's chapel is made up of 3 radiant chapels. Inside, the choir is surrounded by a corridor called an ambulatory which is rarely found in the Combrailles.
A string of billets (rectangular-shaped decoration) runs above the bays. Numerous sculpted modillions under the roof complete the exterior decoration of this chevet. All the pillars of the ambulatory have sculpted capitals, one of which has the theme of avarice and another that of minotaurs.
