A medieval fortress typical of the Cantal region château de Rochebrune is listed in its entirety on the Monuments Historiques, including the terraced gardens and including the terraced gardens and interior decor. If the square tower is a magnificent example of 12th-century architecture, the rest of the building was mainly built in the first half of the century and again in the 18th century.
