Ressourcerie en Combrailles

This structure is organised around a recovery, recycling, resale and environmental education centre. Its activities are part of the local waste management plan. It is a local player. On a day-to-day basis, it gives priority to the Reduction, Reuse and Recycling of waste (the 4 "R's") by educating its public about environmentally-friendly behaviour. The ressourcerie collects waste in a way that preserves its condition, so that it can be reused and recycled.
As part of the community-based economy and a key player in local development, it forges a number of partnerships, creates sustainable jobs, prioritises service to the community and pays close attention to the skills and development of its employees.

Aware of and sensitive to environmental issues, local development and the dynamics of the Combrailles region, this association was set up in July 2014 with the aim of providing, in agreement with local authorities, an appropriate response to the quantities of waste deposited at waste collection centres that could be re-used or re-employed and thus enable a Ressourcerie to be set up in a sustainable way.
