This fishing area, located in Neschers in the Couze Chambon is a family site. If all techniques can be practiced, "toc" and lure fishing are well suited to large and deep flats.
This route is accessible by walking a few hundred meters towards the valley. This site is a mixed site for families and enthusiastic fishermen. The area between the upstream part of the dam and the Croix Basses bridge (underlined in purple) is for the family, it is easily accessible and not very dangerous. This sector begins with a large, open flat, very suitable for fishing to discover small species such as minnows and dowels. Fishing can be done with a 3-4 m rod, equipped with a small float and an 18 to 20 bait hook made of natural baits such as earthworms, compost or small water worms. Diptera larvae are prohibited (maggots...). For experienced fishermen, the sector continues on the left bank after the Croix Basses bridge, for a more sporty fishing trip. The river flows through shaded gorges; the progression is delicate, requires good physical fitness and at least waders. The fishing trip ends on the bridge after about 3 hours of prospecting.
Fish: fario trout, dowel, minnow, loach.
Periode d‘ouverture : Ouvert toute l‘année
