Start from the Louis Brousse school parking lot in the center of the hamlet of Vendes, take the left-hand road looking towards the school (near the 12th-century chapel).
1. At a wide bend in the road, turn right onto a small asphalt road. Once you've passed the last dwellings, this road gives way to a wide track that leads to the vacation village.
2. Just before the first houses of La Baraque, turn right down a wide track. At the first fork in the road, turn left uphill.
3. In sight of the summit, take the right-hand path down into the forest, cross a talweg and then climb up the forest slope to a wide, passable track.
4. Turn right on this ancient Roman road, which leads to Vendes at the Château.
