Natural heritage, geologic and paleontological treasures,
Free access. The town of Gannat, the Conservatoire d'espaces naturels de l'Allier and a local breeder work in partnership for the ecological management of these limestone lawns rich in a remarkable natural heritage. A welcome panel located at the entrance of the site allows to understand the floristic riches dominated by the presence of the Aster amelle, protected wild daisy in France, and the geological and paleontological treasures. An annual programme of activities and guided tours is published.
