Gîte le Poulailler is located on the Haut-Lignon plateau, in the heart of southern Auvergne, at more than 1000 m altitude. It is located in a small hamlet in the countryside with an exceptional view of the Pic du Lizieux, an ancient volcano.
Our cottage was completely renovated at the end of 2020, beginning of 2021 and has been open for rent again since July 4, 2021. This cottage is ideal for a couple or a small family (45m2). The lodging is classified 3 stars.
The cottage is composed a bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a mezzanine in this room with two mattresses on the floor (the children will have the impression of sleeping under a canvas tent because the space is reduced in height), a living room with a convertible corner sofa overlooking the Lizieux where it is good to relax while watching TV or reading a book.
In the kitchen you can simmer good meals thanks to the induction hobs and the electric oven. The kitchen is also equipped with a dishwasher and if you don't feel like cooking ask Eline if it is possible to eat at the table d'hôtes in the old renovated farmhouse, which is right next door. of the lodge.
A washing machine is at your disposal in the garage.
The volleyball/petanque ground, as well as the terrace behind the farm can be used freely.
During the winter months you can heat yourself with a wood stove, the wood is provided free of charge. In addition there are electric heaters in the bedroom and bathroom.
