Fishing: autumn perches on the Allier River

Partage :

The Allier River has large perches. Fish from 35 to 40cm are numerous and it is possible to meet specimens of 50cm and more. The methods of capture are diverse: with the "baladeur", the "dandinette", the lures...

In autumn, with clear waters, you can practice the technique of sight fishing. On the lots of the A.A.P.P.P.MA of Brassac, Jumeaux and Auzat, the Allier alternates between the current zones and the dishes suitable for large poles. This is an itinerant form of fishing.
It is pleasant to observe the species in their natural environment and with a little practice, it is possible to approach pike, carp and even salmon.
