Lavoûte-sur-Loire can boast the first residential chateau on the RIver Loire, but also a magnificent 12th century Romanesque church.
The architecture is impressive. Inside, there is a large wooden statue of Christ, a Romanesque altar and a processional cross.
A reliquary, a Black Virgin and a 17th century painting can also be admired.
The church is open from Easter to the end of September every day from 9 to 6 o'clock.
