Description détaillée

Start: Opposite the start sign (11th-century church of Saint-Médulphe), turn left down the D223 as far as the ‘stop’ sign. Continue straight ahead on Rue de Loche and immediately turn left towards the oil press on Place de Loche. At the end of the square, turn left onto the D985. Cross the road and turn right over the bridge over the Morge. At the next bend, turn left towards Bougerol. At the first fork in the road (another yellow signposted circuit), stay on the tarmac. After 150 m, leave the road and turn left up a flight of steps leading to the bank of the Morge. Follow the path through the undergrowth, which rejoins the road shortly before Bougerol. After the buildings, continue straight ahead on the track, between woods and fields. At the first crossroads, go down to the left, cross the Morge by a footbridge and, immediately afterwards, turn left. Continue as far as the hamlet of Parret. Follow rue de la Plage and continue straight on until you reach rue Félix Lefaure.

1 - Turn left into this street and, after about 100 metres, take the path on the right, which, after crossing the D223, rises towards the puy de Loule. Ignore the three adjacent tracks (with views of Saint-Myon and Artonne) and come to a fork in the road. Take the path that climbs to the right for 100 m, as far as the first bend.

2 - Leave the gravel track and turn left onto the grassy path. At the first crossroads, turn left and walk down to a T-junction (view of Limagne, Livradois-Forez and the Chaîne des Puys). Turn left for around 100 metres, then right. Reach and cross the D985 and immediately turn right. After 100 m, turn left and continue as far as a crossroads (isolated walnut tree).

3 - Turn left at right-angles onto the grassy path (yellow markers) and continue to a crossroads near a copse. Turn right and reach a cement cross. Turn left onto the stony track and follow it to a path on the left just before the forest.

4 - Take this path. At the end of a bend to the left, take the first track to the right. Continue as far as the houses. At the crossroads, turn right into Rue de Loche. At the end of this road, go straight on (route de Combronde) to get back to the starting point.
