This church is dedicated to 2 martyrs, Saint Julien and Sainte Flamine. Saint Julien was a roman soldier executed at Brioude after his conversion to Christianity, the alter table is devoted to him. Saint Flamine was a young girl who was decapitated by Roman soldiers.
Saint Flamina is said to have been decapitated on the stone next to the church. Roman soldiers are said to have thrown his head into a temple well. The church today houses this well. The water from the latter is said to be miraculous: it would cure vision problems.
