B&B and table d’hôtes in a delightful, authentic dwelling deep in the Brezons valley.
Lescure is a château dating from the early Middle Ages with three B&B rooms. It is located in the upper Auvergne where the Cantal meets the Aveyron, 850m up, looking out from the Brezons valley towards the Aubrac heights. Originally just a watch-tower, Lescure was extended in later centuries with the addition of an adjacent building housing a traditional Auvergne kitchen, and then with a main house linking the two. This L-shaped complex surrounding a courtyard harmonises perfectly with its setting in the valley. Sophie, the owner, serves organic table d’hôtes dinners with home-grown vegetables. You can visit the medieval garden and watch bread being made.
