Situé sur son éperon rocheux (723 m), sur la commune de Retournac, le château d’Artias, au centre des monts, Miaune et Madeleine, se dresse au-dessus des méandres de la Loire.
Historic remains of this château dating from the Middle Ages and of the 12th century chapel of Saint-Denis d’Artias overlook the Loire as it meanders along. Botanical walk and organic plants on terraces. New this year : botanical garden and medicinal plants on site, with guided tours for groups by prior arrangement from spring onwards. Non-guided visits possible every day all year round.
