This loop invits you to discover the beautiful castles in Le Veurdre, village near the Allier river, the last great wild european river.
This 7,16 km long ride is recommended for children over the age of ten, occasional cyclists and cycling enthusiasts.
Starting from Le Veurdre, where the village was known for its navigation activities on the Allier river. Take the small pretty road to ""Château de la Baume"". This nice 18 th century stone castle belonged to the same family for three hundred centuries, before its purchase by a king's adviser who gave it its current size. Follow your way to the beautiful ""Château de la Charnée"" built by the Crown prosecutor in 18th century and then take time to admire the setting. Ride at your own pace along the little woods and pond of Nouets before going back Le Veurdre.
