The ponds of Saint-Germain-des-Fossés are located in the heart of the Allier river basin. They were created by the Jalicot company to exploit the gravel left by the Allier river. These vast expanses create a timeless, bucolic environment, with an unobstructed view of the banks of the Mourgon and the Church of Saint-Germain-des-Fossés.

To the south of the leisure park, a lawn reaches the water to enjoy the panoramic view of the water-based activities on offer from June onwards, or from a contemplative pontoon on the dike.
