In the former barn and stables of the Abbey, this 200-seat auditorium, including 6 places for disabled people, was inaugurated in 2010. It hosts shows and conferences all through the year.
The auditorium is named after Georges Cziffra, the great Hungarian pianist who founded the Chaise-Dieu Festival of Classical, Baroque and Romantic Music in 1966.
The building has been restored by Stephan Manciulescu, chief architect for historic monuments. It combines wood and stone to attractive effect.
