Non-profit organization. Since 1992, it has endeavored to promote the natural, historical and architectural riches of the Sioule valley and works to safeguard the Fades railway viaduct.
Exhibitions, conferences, media operations... Sioule & Patrimoine has set itself the main objective of acting for the promotion, preservation and enhancement of the rich heritage of the Sioule Valley.
With this in mind, the association has set itself the following priority missions:
- Preserve the natural and built heritage of the Sioule Valley
The association has a large documentary collection on the entire Sioule basin. It publishes an annual review, “L’Écho de la Vallée”, which reports on the actions carried out and includes in-depth articles on local heritage. It organizes exhibitions and slideshows-conferences (DVD on the history of the Fades viaduct) and offers paying visits on site on request.
