An aquatic and fitness area for sports and leisure activities for the whole family
Located in the commune of Bellerive-sur-Allier, the Stade Aquatique opened its doors in March 2008 and continues our region's sporting tradition. Vichy Communauté commissioned internationally renowned architect Jacques Rougerie to design and build the facility, in order to position it at the very highest level of swimming.
The Stade Aquatique features a 25m x 21m indoor Olympic-size pool with tiered seating, and under the 500 m² blue dome: a learning pool, a paddling pool and a leisure and wellness pool. The balneo pool features: bubble benches, various massage jets, a current river, a whirlpool bath and a water mushroom for the pleasure of the youngest. For those who prefer the thrill of sliding, there's a 40-metre waterslide to keep you safely entertained.
Outside, during the summer months, users can take advantage of a 50m x 21m Olympic-size pool, mineral and grassy beaches to relax and soak up the sun, with various facilities including deckchairs and a restaurant area. Water games and a playground are also available for younger guests.
Airy and spacious, the reception area gives access to changing rooms and a mezzanine leading to the fitness and wellness areas (cardio-training and weights).
