Leaving Le Vigan, the first part of this stage of the GTMC mountain bike race takes place in a forest atmosphere. At Montdardier, the landscape changes and becomes more open, dotted with vast expanses of dry grass virtually devoid of trees and shrubs: welcome to the Causse de Blandas, marked by its agropastoral and megalithic heritage. The itinerary takes us to the Cirque de Navacelles Grand Site de France, the highlight of this stage. Situated in the heart of a 46-hectare sensitive natural area, the Blandas belvederes offer 4 impressive viewpoints over the Cirque and the Vis Gorges.

- Animaux acceptés : Although not recommended, some mountain bikers may travel with pets. In such cases, it will be essential to carry the animal or keep it on a leash on sections of the route shared with motorized traffic, as well as on trails where the presence of animals is regulated. On paths where the presence of animals is forbidden by decree (in National Parks in particular), mountain bikers will have to find an alternative route on paths where the presence of animals is not regulated, or temporarily separate themselves from their animal on the stages concerned.
