La Ferme de Fontvieille, a former equestrian center, welcomes you to the Gîte “La Graineterie”, in the heart of Combrailles in the village of Sauret-Besserve at an altitude of 700 meters. Come and recharge your batteries in this old stone grain reserve.
The house on two levels is made up of a large living room that can accommodate a beautiful table, 4 bedrooms including a cabin bedroom, two bathrooms and 2 toilets. The cottage opens onto a private area of land, a summer kitchen with plancha and barbecue as well as a sauna upon reservation.
Located on the borders of the Auvergne region and Puy-de-Dôme, around twenty minutes from the motorway, the geographical location of the sector allows a wide range of tourist and cultural activities.
Our location is ideal for discovering the wild and preserved Auvergne, multiple nature activities, sports but also relaxation and calm in a generous and authentic setting. Lovers of good cuisine and local products will also be satisfied.
The cottage is 4 km from Saint-Gervais d'Auvergne village where all amenities are located: bakery, delicatessen, bar/restaurant, pharmacy, health center, tobacconist, supermarket...
Water is one of the natural elements widely present in the Combrailles sector. On foot, you can enjoy the fishing lake of La Sagne (sale of fishing permits for the day, we lend fishing rods), the Gour Saillant waterfall. Less than 10 km from Sauret-Besserve is the Fades lake, the largest reservoir in Puy-de-Dôme. Many sports are practiced, sailing, water skiing, wake boarding, paddle, jet-ski, canoeing, pedal boats, inflatable play area, fishing and swimming (3 supervised beaches). There is also a rail bike activity, the highest in Europe, on a route with breathtaking scenery, with a sumptuous finale on the Fades viaduct.
