Les Gugusses de Saint-Clément !

They are one of Saint-Clément's must-see attractions:
48 wooden characters have been fashioned by the locals themselves and scattered around the village in 36 locations. With their smiling faces and accessories such as dresses, hats, clogs and tools, they're sure to put a smile on your face every time. The Gugusses echo the history of this village in the Montagne Bourbonnaise. Some represent emblematic inhabitants of the past century who worked in sawmills or on local farms. Can you find them all?
You'll find 3 more Gugusses in the hamlets of La Bruyère (to the west) and Giraud (to the northeast) of the village of Saint-Clément.
