Church "Saint-Victor"

Partage :

Saint-Victor church (12th-15th c.) is a mix of Romanesque (porch) and Gothic (choir, chapels of ogival style) styles.

In the sacristy lie the bones of a refractory priest who was to be canonised. The roof was restored in the 2000s. The acoustics allow numerous activities (religious services, concerts, music recordings...). Located in the heart of the village, the church is open most of the time (or keys available at the Town Hall). It is accessible via a few steps - car park nearby. The site of Chastel is a former stronghold that was besieged by Clovis’s son in 532. There’s a paper chase available on this remarkable site where several outlooks have been organised.
